Rélévo is the parent company of a group of French restaurants. The brand aims to expand by opening new restaurants across the region. For this reason, it sought a complete rebranding while retaining its original logo.
The first restaurant to open is Annette and located in Marseille, France.

For this project, I was commissioned to develop a comprehensive brand identity system around Rélévo's existing logo, which the client was determined to maintain. The challenge was to honor tradition while embracing contemporary design sensibilities, creating a cohesive visual language that would complement and enhance the established logo.
My work encompassed creating custom illustrations, developing location-specific visual elements, and designing a complete suite of branded materials for both Rélévo and its first restaurant, Annette in Marseille.
Goals
The primary challenge was to create a scalable brand identity system that could maintain consistency across multiple restaurants while allowing for local adaptation. The solution needed to bridge traditional French heritage with modern dining experiences, using a contemporary interpretation of classic design elements.
Project Overview
Created a modern interpretation of Toile de Jouy patterns in two variations: corporate orange for Rélévo and Marseille blue for Annette
Developed comprehensive brand applications including menus, business cards, signage, and digital assets
Designed custom illustrations featuring anachronistic elements that tell stories of generational knowledge transfer
Established a flexible color system that allows each new restaurant to maintain its unique identity
